The Drop Off

Kalaila watched as the two troopers dropped the woman in front of her. "Do you know why I hate politicians?" she said, throwing her cloak to the side carelessly.

I shook my head.

Kalaila narrowed her eyes at Sarah. "Because they talk to much," she whispered. Kalaila raised her gloved hand and forced lightening towards Sarah.

"Oh, that's a good touch." I applaud Kalaila quietly.

I let out a short cry of pain. "What do you want?"

"The location of the Valley of the Jedi," Kalaila said shortly, jolting another wave of lightening.

"OK, Kai, that's enough of the lightning. Get to the blades. I love those..."

The last shock of lightening left my senses tingling. I blinked several times before managing to spit out, "I'm not going to tell the likes of you."

Kalaila grabbed one of her shivs and played with it casually. "No need for rudeness," she muttered, swiftly forcing a grasp on Sarah's hand. She held the tip of the blade against her palm. "Now, let's try this again. Where is the location of the Valley of the Jedi?"

"That's my girl..."

I tried to pull back on my hand, "I'll repeat myself again. I'm.Not.Telling."

Kalaila lifted an eyebrow and pressed the tip of the blade harder into her palm. "Perhaps you should. I know your life means nothing to you, but what about the lives of others?" she said, watched a scarlett stream of blood run down Sarah's arm.

"Ah. That's my cue." I walk to the ship, having my storm troopers grab random people along the way.

I bit back a yelp of pain, "What do you mean?"

I walk in, a blaster in my hand. Twenty people walk in behind me, ten of them children, the rest of them pregnant women. "Every time you fail to answer, I will shoot one of these at random."

Kalaila tilted her head, watching the blood thicken. "Are you brave enough to take a life?"

I froze slightly stunned. "Even that's a little low for you, " I hissed.

"Ask her, Kai."

"Where is the location of the Valley of the Jedi?" she said slowly.
